FOX Sports News reporter Andrew McKinlay has a one on one interview with Ian Thorpe tonight on the back of his This is Me autobiography.

Given some of the topics he is discussing, it’s slightly unfortunate wording in the Press Release header “FOX Sports News Follows Ian Thorpe Into The Deep End.”

FOX SPORTS News will go one-on-one with Australia’s greatest Olympian, Ian Thorpe, in a special 30-minute exclusive interview screening at 930pm AEDT tonight.

The five-time Olympic Gold Medallist will sit down with FOX SPORTS News reporter Andrew McKinlay, after revelations of his battles with crippling depression and alcoholism were detailed in the launch of his biography – ‘This Is Me’.

The frank 30-year-old shares in detail his suicidal thoughts at the height of his depression, as well as addressing constant innuendo over his sexuality.

Thorpe also discusses his relationship with the media, his second-coming to swimming and failure to make the London Olympics, as well as his plans for the future.
