Network TEN will be broadcasting the upcoming Wallabies Spring Tour, as part of a deal with the Australian Rugby Union.
The Wallabies will head to Europe to battle rivals France, England, Italy and Wales. To date, Australia has never lost to Italy with seven of the 14 wins achieved to date being secured on Italian soil.
All four tests will be broadcast live and exclusive* on free-to-air nationally, from Sunday morning. At half time Wallabies Matt Burke and TEN’s Scott Mackinnon will analyse the action.
David Barham, Network TEN Head of Sport said: “This deal further signifies our commitment to Rugby. It ensures that viewers get consistent live free-to-air coverage across the country.
“This further helps the code to thrive and develop and ensures that it is accessible to all Australians until 2015 on TEN.”
Australian Rugby Union Acting CEO, Matt Carroll added, “The announcement today by Network TEN is one that benefits Rugby fans right across the country and we are very pleased with the decision.
“This is an important tour for the Qantas Wallabies, there are three trophies on the line and at the end of the four Tests the world rankings will determine the draw for the 2015 Rugby World Cup.”

On Sunday at 11am ONE will do a full replay of TEN’s Coverage of the 2012 Spring Tour in HD
thats it? four games?
@quokka I think Ten mean they will be showing it * exclusively* in SD
David, what is the * by exclusive? I assume it means exclusively FTA on 10 and not other FTA networks, cos Foxtel is showing all Wallabies games live (plus all other rugby internationals of the spring tour)…so David Barham can hardly say exclusively on TEN…
will these be shown on ONE or sd 10?
It’s good living in the west. Those last three matches start around 10pm.
Good news and great to hear Matt Burke and Scott McKinnon instead of the one-eyed Greg Clark.
Good on Ten for showing these games live. I hope they continue to air the sport live into the new year.
