Charlie Pickering is live from New York City and Chicago reporting on the US Election. While the American east coast begins to recover from Hurricane Sandy, Charlie will be covering every possible topic, including what you can tell about a president by their dog to the key issues facing Americans this election. Following the ballot on election day (Wednesday Australian time), we will see how the polls are shaping up… Democrat or Republican?

Also, on Monday, we’ve bumped our regular guest Steve Price for none other than Kevin Rudd. He joins Dave Hughes, Waleed Aly and Gorgi Coghlan as a co-host for the entire hour. What questions will he pose to pop princess Delta Goodrem, who will appear live in the studio.

The fun and frivoloity doesn’t stop there. Monty Python’s Michael Palin gets up to some mischief with some meerkats from the Melbourne Zoo, Sam Mac spends Melbourne Cup day at Flemington, and we meet Australia’s biggest royal fans ahead of Prince Charles and Camilla touching down.
