  1. TXF costed Ten the loss of Ben and Kate not long after it was put on the air in it’s early weeks.Whether the latter will come back remains unknown but all you viewers should be ashamed of yourself for a new comedy getting the chop.

  2. @ D@GP, yes, “The Voice” was done and dusted in eight weeks. Season 3 of the US edition started September 9 and is still going. Like you, I suspect Nine will make some adjustments to next year’s series.

In response to The X Factor: Australia, I hope Seven are intuitive enough to leave it as it is. If “Celebrity Splash’, “House Rules” and “The Mole” rate well and are stripped, that should be reason enough not to tamper with The X Factor.

  3. @ Les I find both a bit tired and repetitive.
At least Breakfast, love the hosts or not had fresh content in 2.5 hours not repetitive stories over 3.5! Quality not quantity is needed!!
@ Steve Sydney Nearly all over I think there are 5 teams left!

  4. Great to see “Today” ahead of “Sunrise”, I know its always neck and neck, but I really think Seven needs to make some changes to “Sunrise”next year, Koch’s persona is so tired and the show is very predictable.

  5. @ danny

To me, 13 weeks of TXF seems like ages and ages.

At least 9’s The Voice was over in a comparatively very short time.

Let’s have more amateur hour shows on Oz tele…

The teens love ’em and they require little use of the grey cells.

Bet you 10 to 1 that 9’s Voice and 7’s TXF will both be a lot longer next year.

  6. i actually think they could have extended X one more week to have 2 in the finale, it just seems more exciting and memorable when it is down to 2 and one will win. people remember the shannon/guy faceoff, the jessica maubuoy/damien leith, casey/anthony ect.

  7. @ D@GP, this season hasn’t “been going for ages and ages”.

Monday August 20 was the date of its launch and the grand finale is tonight, Tuesday November 20. That’s three months even, or thirteen weeks.

The suggestion “season 2013 running for 26 weeks minimum” is outrageous. There’s another network which prides itself on making almost every program of theirs outstay their welcome. Not Seven.

  8. Wonder how long 7 will stretch out – and I mean s-t-r-e-t-c-h o-u-t the X Factor next year?

This show seems to have been going for ages and ages – if they’re calling for auditions now, I reckon they’ll have season 2013 running for 26 weeks minimum…
