Next week StarPics broadcasts the charity concert for those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

12-12-12 The Concert for Sandy Relief at Madison Square Garden will feature Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, Kanye West, The Who and Paul McCartney, in HD.

“12-12-12” The Concert for Sandy Relief is a special one night only live music benefit to aid people throughout the New York Tri-State area who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy. The net proceeds from the concert will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund which provides money, material and know-how to local organisations that are serving families and individuals in the regions hardest hit by the storm.

The Australian television broadcast of this extraordinary benefit concert is exclusive to StarPics.

    Really disappointed that this is going to be on StarPics. I’ve never actually met anyone (myself included) who subscribes to the Movie Network package, it really doesn’t make any sense why they’re putting it on there. Why not put it on FOX8? It’d make more sense, and everyone would be able to watch it rather than the select few who afford both movie packages.
    Oh well. Guess I’ll have to find other ways of watching it.

    I think MTV Live HD is a feed straight from Europe so it wouldn’t show it, much better it’s on Starpics in HD than one of the other music channels

    Huh? Movies you know, actors you love ….. or whatever it is.

    Would be better suited to MTV Live HD.

    I’m a little surprised…thought MTV Hits/Classic or Max would pick this up locally. Not a movie channel

    Don’t have Starpics and I only subscribe to the sports channel :(
