Airdate: Michael Buble: Home for the Holidays

The Buble croons with Bing Crosby thanks to a little white Christmas magic.

This Saturday night Seven screens the special Michael Buble: Home For The Holidays.

The Canadian star who has long idolised Crosby joined up with the late crooner for a special performance courtesy of computer magic. Crosby’s performance took place on 14 December 1971 as part of the Bing Crosby & Sounds of Christmas TV Special.

The multi-Grammy Award winning singer is joined by guest stars Rod Stewart, Blake Shelton and fellow Canadian Carly Rae Jepsen, as well as Elmo, on songs including “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Winter Wonderland”.

Plus, with the help of a little computer magic, Bublé teams up with the late Bing Crosby for a special performance of “White Christmas”. Crosby’s performance took place December 14, 1971 as part of the Bing Crosby & Sounds of Christmas TV Special.
Bublé said: “I have worshipped Bing Crosby since I was six years old. My family plays Bing’s White Christmas all year around. It’s really an honour to sing this beautiful song with him.”

  1. To quote and oldie but a goodie…Michael Buble could sing the ‘phone book…and the female audience would melt in a puddle…me included…he can really sell a song.
