Delta joins Carols by Candlelight

Delta is seemingly so excited to appear at Carols does it matter which network it's on?

Delta Goodrem is set to appear at Carols by Candlelight, joining a host of other names from The Voice including Rachael Leahcar, Sarah de Bono and Darren Percival.

Interestingly, Goodrem is so delighted by appearing one could be forgiven for thinking she gave identical quotes to both Nine and WIN Networks with a quick edit.

“A night filled with love, family, music and the Christmas spirit. I cannot wait to be a part of this amazing night on the Nine Network,” the Nine press release states.

But the WIN press release quotes her as saying, “A night filled with love, family, music and the Christmas spirit. I cannot wait to be a part of this amazing night on the WIN Network.”

WIN has acknowledged it amended references to Nine.

In her first appearance on the Carols by Candlelight stage in six years, Australia’s sweetheart of song, Delta Goodrem, is coming home for Christmas.

The coach of The Voice and ten-time ARIA Award winner will perform two songs from her festive EP Christmas at this year’s Carols by Candlelight live from the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Christmas Eve.

“To return to the Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight in Melbourne on Christmas Eve after my last performance in 2006 is so exciting,” said Goodrem.

“A night filled with love, family, music and the Christmas spirit. I cannot wait to be a part of this amazing night on the Nine Network.”

Delta Goodrem’s soulful blue grass inspired EP Christmas is out now.

Monday, December 24 at 8pm on Nine.
