Adrift: 47 Days With Sharks
Friday 7 December, 7.30pm
The inspiring true story of Louie Zamperini and Russel Phillips. During a routine search mission over the Pacific in WWII, their plane crashed into shark infested waters, and what happened to them over the next three years of their lives is one of the great stories of our time. A flimsy life-raft. And hundreds of hungry sharks. This is an extraordinary story of survival in US history.

Shark City
Saturday 8 December, 7.30pm
Most of us are used to thinking of sharks as anonymous, dead-eyed killers, but in “Shark City”, we’ll get to know a handful of them as individuals—with their own personalities, quirks, and –yep—feeding patterns. The sharks who live off the shores of the Bahamas exist in a vibrant and diverse community of species and we’ll follow them through their days and nights, and find out how they size each other up, what they like to eat, and what it is that THEY’RE afraid of.
