Hiatus is about to end ....and the annual Programmer's Wrap is imminent.

tvt_logoTV Tonight resumes normal programming after the long weekend, signalling the end of summer Hiatus.

This will mean a return to regular stories across the day with more updates and breaking news.

I’m kicking things off with my third annual Programmer’s Wrap -back to back interviews with network programmers about their upcoming content.

These are lengthy articles promising plenty of information about their shows, strategies and more. These are always closely analysed by the industry….

The first of these will be published on Tuesday.

  1. The wrap has already become a TT tradition and I really look forward to it. I feel like our comments and responses to whatever they say are taken on board by the programmers who ignore this site at their peril.

  2. Let us see whether this is the year that Network will stick out the year without changing to many of the shows timeslots around. We all know the quote from C. Pickering “The Reason Why Talk’in About Your Generation was scrapped was there were two many time changes in the time of airing”

    Seriously, I agree with @Jezza the First, it sure feels like you came back weeks ago. There have been some pretty comprehensive interviews and suchlike since then.
    Anyway, welcome back.

    Yeah ilovetv, I was wondering about the Amazing Race as well, since the new season is going to air in the US in Feb same as Survivor. Lets hope we get them at the same time, but I won’t be holding my breath.

  8. Hope you have had a good break David, you earn it, I check in probably six to seven times a day, I know I should get a life but this site is the to me the best thing since sliced bread !

  9. Looking forward to another year of TV Tonight. I check the site at least 3 times a day, and when I’m travelling overseas this coming March I will still be checking it wherever WiFi is available.
