Harvey, 68, announced in October that he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer but has continued working, including recent appearances on Nine News and an interview with the ABC’s One Plus One.
Daughter Claire Harvey tweeted: “Thank you to everyone for your amazingly kind messages to Dad. He is getting great care in hospital.”
