iview to screen youth drama webseries

iview will screen SYD2030, a 12 part webseries touted as “Gossip Girl for Sydney’s Eastern suburbs.”

Created by Sydney based production company Cheese on Toast Productions, the webseries features Sophie Luck and consists of episodes 5 – 10 minutes each.

SYD2030 follows the lives of five Eastern Sydney law students, struggling to balance their hectic social lives with a demanding workload. But, while the textbooks are hefty and the teachers strict, it’s the sexual escapades, drug overdoses, boozy scandals and naughty secrets that keep the students of SYD2030 really on their toes!

The project has won ‘Best International Webseries’ at the LA Film, TV and Webisode Festival and has also recently been nominated for an International Academy of Web Television award in Las Vegas.

It will screen on ABC iview from Tuesday the 5th of February at 6pm AEDT.
