2013-02-06_2337Good to see GO! is adding more new content lately, with Suburgatory and Auction Hunters already on air and Survivor due next week.

This Sunday The Middle returns with Season 4 and a double episode.

Episode 1
Last Whiff of Summer Part 1:
Frankie’s plans to recreate the magic of her own childhood summers are foiled when Mike lets it slip that Axl is his favourite Heck child, and Frankie tries to coax the kids into telling them who their favourite parent is. Meanwhile, when Frankie and Mike discover that Axl failed English during the past school year, they force him to make it up in summer school, otherwise he could jeopardize any chance of getting a college sports scholarship after graduation; Brick takes up growing a tomato for his summer project; and Sue tries to bond with a reluctant Mike and to get him involved in different activities with her — which she plans to document in a giant scrapbook.

Episode 2
Last Whiff of Summer Part 2: Summer continues with August and the Heck family summer comes to a surprising conclusion at a county fair.

  1. I’m glad they are playing new episodes. I’ll admit I look forward to when Fringe will be shown. Plus Chuck. Probably eventually Arrow (I’m guessing based on the history of the last decade).

I’ll admit I hope Fringe and Chuck don’t end the same week because I think it would be emotionally too much. So I hope they play one then the other. I don’t mind if they overlap if it is better for the channel. Different days are fine. I’m glad I got to see the shows. Thanks GO! for playing them. I’ll admit I’m also curious about what will happen with Spartacus. I guess we’ll find out.

  2. I’ve missed so much of this and other first run shows on Go, ’cause I never know when they’re on or they clash. Are the Mike & Molly episodes on Sunday new ones too?

  3. I love The Middle, it is one of the unsung little TV shows hidden away from the masses because it isn’t full of innuendos an boobs, surely it could fit in 9’s schedule somewhere once a week rather than all those TBBT, 2.5 Men and 2 Broke Girls repeats.
10 does the same thing with Raising Hope, another little gem !
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, just because you can have 3 or 4 channels each doesn’t always mean you should use them because it certainly isn’t raising the quality !
