  1. The Harp February 8, 2013 at 10:41 pm -

Why is Peppa Pig more than twice as popular in Melbourne than Sydney?

  2. catherine February 8, 2013 at 5:35 pm -

Wow I seriously thought the block would be so much better.

Is MKR rating better than last year? Its good this series.

  3. fromthedale February 8, 2013 at 2:28 pm -

Ouch. Ten and Nine must be really worried, 1.8m for MKR on a Thursday in non-ratings.

I don’t recall any show getting such big numbers on a Thursday in recent times.

  4. tvf February 8, 2013 at 2:08 pm -

The footy classified special didn’t rate too badly last night in three states. The story has alot of interest. I thought caroline wilson and damien barrett did a good job of covering the situation. Didn’t hear as much from mathew lloyd but his role will be more to analyse the games and that will be interesting when the season begins.

  5. mediamgt February 8, 2013 at 12:01 pm -

JB.. there has been no discernible drop in Seven Melbourne’s news ratings since a change of weather presenter. Nine’s substantial lead in the 6pm News has been like that for some time.

  6. a_twit February 8, 2013 at 11:49 am -

Spice girls gone – ratings drop (slightly).

  7. GG February 8, 2013 at 11:14 am -

It’s not just about who’s presenting the weather on Seven news in Melbourne – it’s about the whole bulletin, and the gap between it and Nine News has been widening for months.

  8. JB February 8, 2013 at 10:40 am -

Wonder if Seven Melbourne are regretting hiring Giaan Rooney? Those number against Nine News in Melbourne are woeful. Not in Melbourne, so have a lot of people switched off Seven, the gap was never that big was it?

  9. David Knox February 8, 2013 at 10:17 am -

The Project 424,000. American Idol 388,000.

  10. bettestreep2008 February 8, 2013 at 10:03 am -

Ouch – The Project and American Idol rating below 427K?

And it’s going to be interesting when Helen Kapalos outrates the Project 3 to 1 when the ratings season starts.

Oh well – Ten might do better on Sunday night because this whole week has been disastrous for them.
