    today tonight beat aca????????

  2. Pertinax February 13, 2013 at 10:58 am -

What other PG content can Ten put up against MKR other than Masterchef?

  3. DeeCee February 13, 2013 at 10:49 am -

The Walking Dead hits new highs. Up from 107,000 for the Season 3 premiere last year.

  4. Rayne February 13, 2013 at 9:42 am -

MKR is a soap opera with cooking. The Block is a soap opera with renovations. MCP? Not interested. We don’t bother watching.

  5. bettestreep2008 February 13, 2013 at 9:27 am -

David – those figures are indeed woeful but what did Ten expect putting a reality cooking show up against another reality cooking show?

I watched MCP last night and enjoyed the ‘cooking’ that went on and watching two ‘professionals’ under extreme pressure.

Then I watched a bit of MKR and all I saw were couples bitching and moaning and very little ‘cooking’ went on.

I am betting a lot of people are recording MCP and watching it later – or watching the replays in the daytime and on Saturday nights.

But if I was Ten – I’d quickly take MCP off Monday and Tuesday nights because the far inferior MKR is walloping it soundly.

And it is a shame for Australian TV when rubbish outrates quality by 4 to 1.

  6. David Knox February 13, 2013 at 9:26 am -

    Just one average number.

  7. Magical February 13, 2013 at 9:13 am -

Do you know if there was any separation for the two episodes of Packed to the Rafters, or is that rating the average for the entire time it was on?

  8. David Knox February 13, 2013 at 8:59 am -

    Ouch Masterchef was 524,000.
