  1. David – those figures are indeed woeful but what did Ten expect putting a reality cooking show up against another reality cooking show?

I watched MCP last night and enjoyed the ‘cooking’ that went on and watching two ‘professionals’ under extreme pressure.

Then I watched a bit of MKR and all I saw were couples bitching and moaning and very little ‘cooking’ went on.

I am betting a lot of people are recording MCP and watching it later – or watching the replays in the daytime and on Saturday nights.

But if I was Ten – I’d quickly take MCP off Monday and Tuesday nights because the far inferior MKR is walloping it soundly.

And it is a shame for Australian TV when rubbish outrates quality by 4 to 1.
