Veterans steal the show

Best thing in ABC2’s Please Like Me aren’t the young performers but veteran actors Judi Farr (left) and Debra Lawrence (right).

Lawrence, best known to many viewers as Home and Away‘s Pippa, plays the mother of Josh Thomas. She’s an absolute revelation in some scenes.

Judi Farr, seen most recently in Jack Irish, plays Aunty Peg and walks away with every scene she appears in.

The younger cast are not without some strong performers, but these two are a force to be reckoned with.

Written by and starring Josh Thomas, this premieres with a double episode 9:30pm Thursday 28 February on ABC2.
