  1. @Armchair Analyst
They could use ONE for replays as this sport needs to be shown on TEN and Live Nationally.Their is some positive signs coming in from TEN’s promo of “2013 British Irish Lions Tour”. Its Matt Burke not Nathan Burke.

  2. I cant wait for the Rugby Internationals on Ten Sport. I think this could be a turning point for Ten, after admitting that they need to go older in their demos i think sport is one way to achieve this., Hopefully they will use ONE better and more for sport. This is going to be a chance for Ten to show that they havent lost the plot and that they are on the mend. Nathan Burke is a good signing.

  3. David: What’s written above can’t be true unless Ten got rights for the Rugby World Cup 2015(RWC), as the Wallabies are playing in the tournament. As far as I know, Nine and Fox Sports have rights for the RWC (sourced from this website: oldest post with the “Rugby World Cup” tag), and I’m sure Nine would like to keep hoarding it (judging by their awful coverage of Rugby World Cup 2011).

  4. They are a bit late with the press release as he was all over the coverage of the F1 talking up the Rugby.
I guess Channel 10 is a bit behind these days. Maybe they could’ve but a “First on Ten” Watermark on the story

  5. Umm. David didn’t he front TENs coverage of Spring Tour in 2012 and why is there no mention of Spring Tour as TEN is the exclusive broadcaster of it from 2012-2015. This is real get for TEN as just like Alan Jones they signed up for 2013 and beyond. Yay Live coverage of Rugby on TEN as Nine screwed us with a huge amount of delay.
