Was it just me or did channel 9 advertise (at least it came up on my TiVo) a new episode of the Big Bang Theory and then play a repeat at the last minute? The episode meant to be aired I believe was the Closet Reconfiguration and they played the one with the Roommate Agreement Dissection – which is season 4….

  2. Secret Squirrel March 19, 2013 at 12:40 pm -

@Bruce Banner – yeah, saw that fake hidden camera set-up on one of the many ads during the F1. Shows you how much of the show will be real.

  3. Craig March 19, 2013 at 12:34 pm -

Wait so after running promos for a new BBT Nine aired a re-run last night? This is why I don’t trust FTA any more and will not be watching them again!

  4. emurray March 19, 2013 at 12:33 pm -

It really does seem like ten is incapable of learning a lesson from the beating that MKR has given Masterchef and is now sacrificing The Biggest Loser to the same fate by again having it on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, Considering The block finishes tomorrow night maybe this was the chance to chop the project back to half an hour and then put The Biggest Loser at 7. Even more sense as suggested many times on here is to bring Neighbours back onto the main channel.

  5. Pertinax March 19, 2013 at 10:36 am -

TBL should pick up a bit when The Block ends and MKR is not on during Easter non-ratings.

What’s happens when TBL goes up against MKR finals and The Voice blind auditions “After Easter” may not be pretty though.

  6. jezza the first original one March 19, 2013 at 10:03 am -

I see ch10 is back where it belongs….4th place

  7. David Knox March 19, 2013 at 9:44 am -

Primetime share is measure from 6pm -midnight because that’s where most of the advertising money is spent. But the rankings of shows is across the whole day. For instance a huge Melbourne Cup audience of 2.3m won’t be directly reflected into Seven’s ratings share for that day because it is out of primetime -although it certainly brings a big lead-in to the shows that are.

Too soon to call TBL dead. We saw The Block rise so it may too, and non-ratings should help it bed in.

  8. Bruce Banner March 19, 2013 at 9:37 am -

A lesson for everyone – a few teasers for an upcoming season of a well loved show = good. Saturation advertising and exploitive gimmicky “real” hidden camera footage = bad.

The Biggest Loser won’t be back after this year, it’s dead.

  9. mrjojo March 19, 2013 at 9:33 am -

Sorry cannot find where I asked this before but why do some ratings measure from 0200 to 2600 but others 1800 to 2400?
