Ten cannot ignore it for more more. The Project simply is not working. They need a new strategy for the 6 to 7.30pm timeslot. i reckon move the Project to breakfast between 6.30 and 8.30am. 3 hours is far too long and get repetitive. i would have The Bolt report at 6pm. At 6.30 a light entertainment show or quiz show. at 7pm kick off shows like Masterchef.

  2. billbeast March 8, 2013 at 7:03 pm -

Hey David, what did Survivor rate last night?. CHeers.

  3. simmo3 March 8, 2013 at 1:38 pm -

Karl Stefanovic on the NRL game…what the hell has he got to do with the NRL ???

  4. wwenrl March 8, 2013 at 12:25 pm -

That’s great news, to see the Sterlo show on Fox Sports rate So! Well!! It came 2nd!
    Just Brilliant.

  5. mediamgt March 8, 2013 at 10:36 am -

Yikes. Could that 7.3% for Ten’s primary channel be a new record low for a commercial station on a Thursday night? We know they’ve had bad Fridays and Saturdays.

And only one show in the top 20. The 5pm News.

  6. Ronnie March 8, 2013 at 10:25 am -

7.3% for Ten has to be a new low? Scary number.
They really need to put the re-energerised Neighbours (thanks to Fremantle not Ten) back on the main channel. Where is Reef Doctors? Surely it might manage a better number than this? Then again – maybe not.

  7. Earthquake March 8, 2013 at 10:11 am -

The Footy Show NRL began late, so the game took up much of the actual advertised Footy Show.

David, do you know how the NRL game went on Gem/WIN in the digital channels? It was trending in all listed cities in Australia on Twitter last night.

  8. Beckala March 8, 2013 at 10:02 am -

Totally agree JB. When I saw him at the opening I cringed. Not sure what the purpose of Karl – it just seemed awkward…

  9. GG March 8, 2013 at 9:44 am -

So, Seven News Melbourne extending to an hour-long bulletin last night was yet another resounding success!

Just one more brilliant decision by a floundering program & its management.

  10. JB March 8, 2013 at 9:32 am -

The Footy Show got it’s best ratings in Sydney. It was always the NRL Footy Show letting down the ratings, the game probably helped though.

And as if Nine’s NRL coverage wasn’t crap before, now they have Karl Stefanovic as part of it.
