AFL panel show Before the Game is making a shift to ONE in all markets except hometown Melbourne, but it will be Live in Adelaide and Perth.
This at least sees the content of more relevance to viewers, given it had become During the Game while matches were actually underway.
It’s also moving after both cities have flicked off analog TV.
They move to an earlier time in Brissy and Sydney, where they were screening at around 1am on Sunday morning. Definitely After the Game there…
Saturday April 20
Melbourne 6.30pm on TEN Live
Adelaide 6.00pm on ONE Live
Perth 4.30pm on ONE Live
Brisbane 10.30pm on ONE delayed
Sydney 10.30pm on ONE delayed
Last year the show aired on a Thursday night, but didn’t want to compete against The Footy Show at 8:30. Ironically the way things have turned out, it probably would have done a lot better at 7:30 Thursday than American Idol managed, but it uses the same studio as The Project.

Not that iam complaining much about this but it should be Live on ONE everywhere, that would be better.
last year
The early morning Sunday timeslot was BTG’s usual in NSW before it was shifted to Thursdays. Nice to see sensibility arrive.
well this is what i wanted but i thought they wouldve put it on at 6.30 in sydney
This doesn’t affect me but It seems utterly clueless by ten not have done this in the first place. It seem illogical to have a show about AFL on during AFL games.
I personally prefer It on Saturday nights anyway as its better than sevens pregame.
Well done TEN and ONE for doing this. I hope this is a sign of things to come with no analogue
