Dan and Steph proceed to MKR Grand Final

But Bondi boys Luke and Scott are sent packing.

2013-04-24_0057Queensland husband and wife team Dan and Steph became the first team sent through to the My Kitchen Rules 2013 grand final last night.

The couple took the victory by five points with a score of 46/60 for their three-course meal over NSW’s ‘Bondi boys’ Luke and Scott.

Their victory sees Luke and Scott, who started the competition with the highest instant restaurant score and four perfect 10s, eliminated from the contest.

A defeated Luke said: “I’m so genuinely happy for Dan and Steph. They are amazing people.”

The second semi-final between Jake and Elle and Mick and Matt takes place tonight at 7:30pm with the grand final airing on Sunday.

  1. Dan & Steph have done an amazing job and have perhaps been the most consistent; however the editing monkeys are working overtime with giving us a “Dan & Steph” win IMHO. Every question they get is “what would this mean to you?”, stressing how important this inevitable win will be to them.

Anyway, I predict (and hope) for a Dan & Steph/Jake & Elle cook-off, and personally hoping for a Jake & Elle win – love Jake!

  2. @toomuchtv – you watched a show for weeks and because it’s going on too long you stop watching before it’s conclusion? Surrreee… 🙂

Hope D&S win, now that dreamy blue eyes (Scott) is gone.

  3. Dan and Steph are my favourite team to win. I’d actually hate it if they are up against my other favourite team Mick & Matt because I’d have trouble deciding between my two faves!

  4. Yeah for Qld and Hervey Bay, this couple have being serious contenders for a while. Pity MKR has being dragged out to the extreme, I’ve and other fans i know are loosing interest. This show has become to Masterchefy after moving from the homes. I hope someone from production reads this. Less is more. Hence Masterchef no longer the powerhouse and other shows not following this, hence the good shows like on Showtime being only limited eps a year.
