  1. I still watched Escape to Country….I will watch others shows that take my fancy on catchup TV….I dont want to strain the brain…or be stressed at night…easy viewing suits me at night….

  2. The only way the voice will ever not hold the #1 for the night if a regular blinds or battle rounds come up against a shows season finale , Otherwise it will retain #1 every which was proven when it came up against MKR since it started airing. It was completed unaffected wow….

Wow im so surprised , The voice went up against my kitchen rules grand final and winner announcent it didn’t drop it kept its very consistent ratings and was even up from last week , but the funnt things is after the voice finished 800k went over to the the winner , and the voice beat mkr every time it was on in regular episodes , You would accept MKR to win when it is up against a regular episode of the voice and its the shows final , But the voice was completely unaffected. The voicce is #1 show

  4. I watched a place called home last night. It was fantastic. Good to see Noni back on our screen and I loved Brett Climo when he was in the flying doctors and All Saints.

    The actress that plays Sarah is brilliant. I will be watching again for sure.

  5. I am amazed that there were over 2 million watching MKR and nearly 2 million watching the Voice. That is alot of eyeballs at the same time!

    Have 9 got concerens about the Mentalist losing over 600,000 and 60 minutes losing 600,00 from the Voice?

    Escape to the COunrty didn’t rate on 72, because those viewers must have watched Voice/MKR or new Place to call Home?!

  6. I was shocked because of the ratings that The Simpsons even pulled going up against the news. Ten actually made a right decision by putting The Simpsons in that time slot

  7. Are you sure those figures for The Simpsons are correct? It almost rated much as Ten News at Five or even Bondi Rescue and IMO it was good move by Ten against Seven News and Nine News. It can reach 500,000 at the end of this season

    Oh my. I was one of the few Australians who didn’t watch MKR, Voice or even TBL last night.

    And I won’t be watching Celebrity Splash, Voice or TBL tonight either.

    C’mon Oztam – give my house one of your meters and see the ratings go beserk.

  9. Good to see the amazing Top of the Lake get a decent number on Foxtel. It’s criminal that a show so heavily funded by Oz federal and state government subsidies didn’t have a free to air partner.

  10. I was impressed with A Place To Call Home – it’s been a long time since I’ve been compelled to keep watching a local drama on FTA – and it’s not to my usual taste. Well done Seven.

  11. The voice will rate through the roof without MKR on. I knew MKR would get higher than The Voice but it’s great that The Voice stood on its own and didn’t fall to far.

    Anything over 1mill these days is a success

  12. i watched a place called home – I was soo impressed with the production and story telling.. what a magnificent start to a series. The actors are amazing too – good to see a fresh set of talent… congratulations channel 7 and they must be happy with the premier ratings…1.8M

  13. Given the winner announced was 800,000 higher, i’m guessing that is people that switched over after The Voice finished? Never the less, a great result for Seven.
