Abbie Cornish, alive and well and tweeting…

Australian actress Abbie Cornish has denied Facebook rumours of her own demise.

The ‘‘R.I.P. Abbie Cornish’’ Facebook page which has attracting almost 1 million ‘‘likes’’ read:

‘‘At about 11 a.m. ET on Monday (May 20, 2013), our beloved actress Abbie Cornish passed away … she will be missed but not forgotten.’’

Cornish, best known for the films Limitless, Somersault, Bright Star and Sucker Punch, responded via Twitter saying ‘‘Night twitter buddies. I promise I’ll wake up alive, single, and sans baby. Scouts honor.”

Cornish will next appear in the 1980s remake RoboCop and pyschological thriller Solace, both due for release next year followed by US miniseries Klondike.
