Airdate: Killer Karaoke

Do. Not. Attempt. At. Home.

2013-05-23_1504Yikes. The Comedy Channel has confirmed it will screen outrageous US Reality contest, Killer Karaoke, in which foolish singer wanna-bes are bombarded with peril while challenged to keep singing.

Spiders, snakes, attack dogs ….. is there anything they won’t do?

Just remember one thing: Do. Not. Attempt. At. Home.

Killer Karaoke, hosted by Jackass star Steve-O, is coming to The Comedy Channel exclusively premiering on Sunday nights at 7.30pm from June 9, 2013.

Killer Karaoke is an American game show adapted from the British series Sing If You Can. Contestants are challenged to perform their favorite songs in extreme and outrageous circumstances to win a cash prize.

In this hilarious adventure of karaoke gone wild, Steve-O invites contestants to showcase their karaoke skills performing their favourite song in front of audience – but with a catch. They have to sing while engaging in potentially dangerous, humiliating, or painful stunts, and they can’t stop singing until the end of the song.

Stunts include being dunked into an ice-cold water tank filled with snakes, receiving a face full of pigeons, getting their butt-crack waxed or being attacked by dangerous dogs, there’s no telling what lengths these singers will go to!

Replays of each person’s reactions are showcased after the song. After three rounds featuring two people battling in each round the audience votes for the person who will move on to the final showdown. After the finalists sing off in an over-the-top challenge, a winner is crowned. It’s so good it hurts.

Sunday nights at 7.30pm from June 9 on Comedy.

  1. This sounds like mind draining pre-working week fun on a Sunday night, albeit American. Sounds like a premise for a segment on the footy show (both codes) but none of them can sing to m knowledge…
