CBS has pulled the season finale of sitcom Mike and Molly from broadcasting tonight following the two mile-wide tornado in Oklahoma City, which levelled homes, killing over 90 people (updated).
“Due to the tragic events this afternoon in Oklahoma, we are pre-empting tonight’s season finale of Mike & Molly, which has a related storyline,” CBS said in a statement.
The description of the third-season finale indicates a tornado hitting Chicago: Mike and Carl get stuck working at the Renaissance Faire after their boss, Patrick, gets dumped by Mike’s mother. Later, as a tornado descends on Chicago, Mike and Molly each confess important news to each other.
CBS will air a Mike & Molly repeat in its place, and air the season finale “at an appropriate date.”

As far as I know they have only showed a couple of new eps on GO!, by the time I realised it they had taken them off.
In the US it’s the 3rd season final, nothing on GO! (or Nine) for the next week. Arena is showing S1… and they wonder why people go else where for some of their shows.
I thought the episodes on GO! were repeats. Now I feel stupid as I have been sending channel 9 evil thoughts. I’ll have to forget about it as I don’t know what season it’s up to and what I’ve missed.
Is Mike & Molly ever coming back on Channel 9?
They moved it to GO!
ETA – looks like it did air in Canada.
I know it was pulled for the right reason but really its the season final, how long can they delay it?
