Mrs Biggs wins a BAFTA Award

Sheridan Smith, who plays the title role of Mrs. Biggs in the UK-Australian co-pro, won the Lead Actress award.

2013-05-13_1045Sheridan Smith, who plays the title role of Mrs. Biggs in the UK-Australian co-production, has won the Lead Actress award at the BAFTAs.

The ITV drama produced with Australia’s December Media and the Seven Network as a partner wrapped last night.

The British Academy held its annual TV award ceremony earlier today.

Winners include Accused, Alan Carr, Graham Norton, Olympics and Last Tango In Halifax.

  1. i thought Jonathan Creek aired a special episodes in the UK a few weeks ago. Did i miss an announcement that there are a few episodes coming up? And when is that special airing here?

    I am happy that the Graham Norton Show won Best Light Entertainment Program. A shame that he didn’t win himself for Best Personality.
