South Australian Media Awards: winners

South Australian media attended the SA Media Awards on the weekend, hosted by Channel Seven’s Mike Smithson and the ABC’s Jessica Harmsen.

Seven’s Melissa Wildy won the newly named Max Fatchen Award for Best Young Journalist while her colleague Mark Mooney (pictured) took out the silver award for Best TV Broadcaster.

Mooney’s work was judged as being outstanding both behind and in front of the camera.

• Best Coverage of Sport, Ian Shuttleworth (Network Ten)
• Best Young Journalist, Melissa Wildy (Channel 7)
