What’s the schedule for The Voice now?

Updated: Nine has 4 episodes of The Voice scheduled for next week but do we really believe them?

2013-05-04_0042It’s now Saturday and according to Nine’s schedule next week it has 4 episodes of The Voice to air from Sunday to Wednesday.

Three are scheduled at 90 minutes and one, on Tuesday, is just 60 minutes followed by Celebrity Apprentice.

But after this week, do we really believe them?

TV Tonight understands 3 episodes will actually air, but it’s anybody’s guess what the final playout will be.

With 32 singers still left in the competition, it’s extremely optimistic to think Nine can manage a 60 minute episode on Tuesday.

And after the strong numbers for Big Bang this week Nine would be crazy not to slate another on Wednesday.

So logic would suggest Celebrity Apprentice will get bumped back to 8:40pm on Tuesday.

Watch this space…

UPDATE: Tuesday is apparently a Live results show.

  1. You know, I have had enough of channel 9. I used to like Big Bang but because they move it erratically will I don’t watch anymore. Consequently advertisers are missing me and many others. Channel 9 in business its all about keeping the customers happy. Something you need to learn.

  2. A live results show on Tuesday only? I have to question that logic , So the show has live results only for 60mins , idk about that the viewership will be lower then the 1.9-2.2m viewers its been pulling every episode , This is channel 9 just trying to extend the voices run to keep it on longer at the expense of rating lower in live result shows etc they didint have to do them tbh , they can just do what they did last year

  3. @Menicci
It is not coming back apparently in the Telegraph today “with staff being sacked and contracts not being renewed”. Wish him luck because it is only a rumour but is well and truly true

  4. I know I am in the minority, I don’t watch The Voice, but I want to know when they are going to stop repeating it on Saturdays. My eight year old wants Funniest Home Videos back!

  5. They have totally lost it. Not only is the scheduling in the TV Guides misleading, last week the EPG showed one session a repeat, whilst it was a new battle round. Apart from all that wrong scheduling – the sound mix is appalling. I cannot hear ‘the voices’, only the public screaming.

  6. Well rumour has it that The Block will begin next Sunday and be stripped at 7pm in 1/2 hour blocks and The Voice will air 7:30pm. Seven have missed the boat with House Rules. It should have been on the air already!

  7. This is ridiculous! Channel 9 you better step up your game – taking advantage of your viewership… You need to provide consistent schedule for your viewers.. Not mess them around to meet your needs. Shame on you

  8. This has been annoying me this year, it is one thing to not announce what you are showing and have TBAs in the guides and EPG but to advertise shows that were never likely in the schedule to begin with is low.

  9. there are actually 32 singers left. each judge had 7 left with the result of the battle rounds and also we able to save one more artist. meaning each judge has 8 singer left.
