Airdate: 2013 Guys Choice Awards

FX will screen the Seventh Annual 2013 Guys Choice Awards on Saturday night.

This was the event where Burt Reynolds’ appearance left people talking for all the wrong reasons.

The always A-List, modern tribute to the most important manchievements of the year in sports, music, television and film will feature an all-star roster of presenters and attendees including Jake Gyllenhaal, Jessica Alba, Seth MacFarlane, Mark Wahlberg, Vin Diesel, Jeff Bridges, Jason Sudeikis, Jackie Chan, Andrew Luck, Chrissy Teigen, Katherine Webb and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Academy Award®-winner Ben Affleck will receive the evening’s highest honour, Guy of the Year and also added to this year’s awards list is the Man of Steel award, honouring the Most Manticipated Movie of the year. In attendance for this special moment will be cast members Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe and the film’s director, Zack Snyder.

Top honours in addition to Affleck include: Jennifer Aniston presenting Jimmy Kimmel the Funniest M.F award, Vince Vaughn with the coveted Guycon award; Kevin Hart’s monumental year on stage celebrated with the first-ever Stand-Up of the Year award and Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke accepting the Holy Grail of Hot award.

The annual flagship event will also pay tribute to Golden Globe winner and American icon Burt Reynolds. Reynolds who has commanded audiences and inspired legions of followers for decades with his alpha male persona, will be presented with the centerpiece tribute of the night.

Saturday 22 June at 9.30pm AEST with an encore screening Sunday 23 June 8.30pm AEST on FX.
