ASTRA Awards: votes closing

You have until 5pm AEST on Thursday June 27 if you want to cast a vote in the publicly voted categories of the 11th ASTRA Awards.

“Already thousands of Australians have voted in the 2013 ASTRA Awards, with neck and neck competition in more than one category,” ASTRA CEO Andrew Maiden said.

The ASTRA Awards recognise excellence in Australian subscription TV. In addition to the five subscriber-voted categories, 15 categories are judged by voting panels from the subscription TV industry. Finalists in the industry categories were announced in May and can be seen at www.astraawards.com

The winners of all categories – and the prestigious award for Channel of the Year – will be announced at the 2013 ASTRA Awards on Thursday, July 25 at the Sydney Theatre, Walsh Bay.

In the five subscriber-voted categories, viewers can vote until June 27 using a number of different methods:

• at facebook.com/ASTRAawards
• by SMS to 1998 8899
• online at astraawards.com
• or, for the first time, via the official online voting partner, news.com.au at news.com.au/ASTRAawards
