  1. I would of preferred that they didnt introduce the lame new characters. They don’t have enough personality. They should of just kept with the original cast. That is why people started watching the show in the first place. The songs and the storylines in the 1st and 2nd season were really good but it all went downhill from season 3 and dropped even furthur in season 4 along with the appalling ratings. I will probably still watch season 5. But i dont enjoy it nowhere near as much as i used to. 🙁

  2. Darren Criss isn’t in the cast photo because he’s been on a sold out solo US tour for the past month. So he wasn’t available. He is definitely back for season 5.

  3. This is a good thing. The way Brittney was written out was just weird. I felt the whole season was very hard to follow due to the back and forth between New York and Ohio. Hopefully with less appearances from graduated characters we can get to know the new class better and give them a chance. I felt at times the graduated characters coming back was just pointless and unnecessary.

  4. No surprise about Brittany due to Heather Morris pregnancy. The others were never really series regulars last season anyway. The show’s going downhill with the new, boring characters. Such a shame

  5. They wrote Brittany out at the end of last season, so no surprise. The others have just been doing what are really guest spots (Puck has been disappearing and reappearing for the last couple of seasons).

And now that the show has transitioned to its new Lima and New York settings, all the guest characters popping in for token appearances were disrupting continuity with the new cast not preserving it with the past.

  6. Not a major shock. With the exception of Brittany, the rest of the characters had very few appearances last season. Now if we can get Kurt and Rachel shunted off to their own spin off, Glee might be able to get back to normal. That, or when characters graduate – write them out completely 😉
