J_J_M_D_14051Tonight ABC1 screens the first of three episodes At the Movies episodes in which guest hosts Judith Lucy and Jason Di Rosso step in for Margaret Pomeranz and David Stratton.

Just as well they didn’t ask Genevieve Morris and Paul McCarthy, who impersonated them mercilessly on last week’s Wednesday Night Fever.

Tonight they review Pacific Rim, The Heat, This is the End, The Conjuring, and Cloudburst, and the ‘DVD Classic’ is Broadcast News.

I’ve already seen Pacific Rim and The Conjuring. I’d recommend the latter if you like a classic haunting movie!

9:30pm Tuesday ABC1.

  2. Judith provided good reviews, but her voice and inflections ….uggghhh. I’ve seen her on stage and the voice is never as bad as on TV.

    As for Jason, his voice had no light and shade when he was reading from the teleprompter, yet in the snippets of chat with JL, he spoke quite naturally.

    We ought not mae a call on one outing, however they are both professionals, television can’t be that hard!!!

  3. ABC are getting ready for the day all At The Movies viewers are dreading. Will be interesting to see how Judith & Jason work out. Wonder if they’ll be back for a summer edition?
