The show returns Monday July 29 replacing Dexter.

9:30pm “Trapped”
J.T. thinks that Catherine’s presence has been causing Vincent’s blackouts. Hoping to prove J.T. wrong, Vincent has J.T. inject him with endorphins and sedatives that trigger a blackout.

Next Tuesday at 8:30pm ELEVEN airs Glee repeats.

  1. The DVD classifications of all the DVDs of Torchwood are MA15+. This includes Series 1, Series 2, Children of Earth and Miracle Day. So they either edit it or it is inappropriately classified at 8.30pm. By the way I’ve watched it (previously and on DVD) and it deserves the MA15+ classification. At least the full version. The only one I haven’t watched are the Miracle Day episodes.

    That said I understand if they make choices based on ratings. Particularly as Beauty and the Beast will be moved for a second time so there will be consequences for that. Whereas Torchwood has been reliably shown on Eleven. If moved it too will have consequences.

  2. Touchwood is M rated.

    Eleven are just putting whatever new content they have on Monday’s night because that is when viewership is highest.

    The best rating will start at 8:30pm with lower rating naughty stuff like Californication on late.

  3. OK interesting. I wonder if next year if they’ll swap it to 8.30pm with Supernatural i.e. alternate between them. Like they were going to in the first place. It would make sense. The only thing I worry about is if the audience will adapt to further change. Also if it didn’t work in the 9.30pm timeslot on the main channel what would happen on Eleven? Because I do remember what happened with The Vampire Dairies.

    Actually if they play Torchwood next year too. Maybe it would make sense to swap them. Because Torchwood classification means it should be on later. But I have no access to the ratings numbers. To comment about that side of things.

    Speaking personally I guess I’ll have to decide what to watch on Tuesday again.
