Oprah programming on Discovery Home & Health

From August Discovery Home & Health will screen a block of programming from the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).

The OWN programming will begin on Sunday August 4 at 7:30pm, and will air each week in the same timeslot.

Sunday August 4:

7:30pm Oprah’s Next Chapter

Viewers join Oprah for in-depth, one-on-one interviews with some of today’s biggest newsmakers and celebrities. Including: Beyonce, David Letterman, Drew Barrymore, Fergie, Jennifer Hudson and Kelsey Grammer. Episode one features an intimate interview with Beyonce.

8:30pm The Oprah Winfrey Show: Behind the Scenes
For the first time ever, see how some of the biggest celebrities prepare to be guests on one of the most popular shows of all time. Follow the highly experienced production team for The Oprah Winfrey Show who reveal what it takes to make such a successful series work. It also follows a host of A-list celebrities backstage, as they prepare for the interviews. What kind of requests do celebrities make? Who makes a shock announcement on-air? And whose daredevil antics cause a headache for the team?

9:30pm America with Lisa Ling
From modern polygamy, to child sex trafficking, amateur porn and soldiers coming home, America With Lisa Ling takes viewers along for an in-depth look at some of the most controversial and thought-provoking issues in the U.S. today.
