I’m shocked, most shocked, Peter Rabbit beat Shaun the Sheep. ;)

  2. trev July 17, 2013 at 1:05 pm -

David’s revue of the Bible was actually extremely kind after I got to see some of this magnificent piece of television. Never knew visiting angels were highly skilled martial arts specialists who took great delight in severing the limbs of those sex crazed Sodomites. At least I think they were angels, as one was a sword wielding cross between Conan the Barbarian and Ensign Sulu from the Enterprise.

The Bible was followed by an encore performace (repeat) of The Block. For 40 minutes several of the DIY’s did nothing but winge and bitch about a 6 inch deep trench that should have been bigger. Not one iota of work occurred throughout the whole episode. Thank God I was in bed as I fell asleep and woke up later mid way through an episode of Skippy……..Aahh! Aussie television, so exciting.

  3. bettestreep2008 July 17, 2013 at 12:03 pm -

AllanPo – totally agree with you re MC – absolutely hilarious stuff.

And funny in a good way. I just loved how the red team got lost in Victoria. I’ve done it in that area too so I could relate with a hearty chuckle.

And who can’t resist the gorgeous Danielle. Needs to tidy up that hair though but I can’t believe viewers aren’t tuning in to see him and the other cute male contestants.

Did sample a bit of that Bake Off show. 5 minutes was enough for me. Absolutely awful. And yet it is rating over 1m thanks to the lazy buggers who don’t know how to use their remotes after watching the equally bad Block.

What is happening to Australian TV at the moment? MC is a high quality and totally enjoyable reality show and has rated over 1m just once ie. debut.

Block is dragging on and on and only features ad placements and yuppies bitching and is rating through the roof every…

  4. Sammee July 17, 2013 at 11:07 am -

I generally like Masterchef but I don’t want to see people milking goats or getting lost on their way to various checkpoints. I want the contestants to have the same ingredients and reasonable cooking times to achieve a great dish.

  5. Cynical July 17, 2013 at 11:03 am -

TraceyB, I’m not aware of any rumours re; H&A moving. Why would 7 move it, when it gets close to a million a night, even with stiff competition.

Totally agree; re W&L. The scripts are so bad.

  6. AllanPo July 17, 2013 at 10:38 am -

A lot of people just did not bother switching on their TVs last night.
    MCA was hilarious though.

  7. Pertinax July 17, 2013 at 10:19 am -

Dancing Queen was only 35k less than Masterchef , cost a lot less and still a whole lot better than The Mole.

  8. Tracey B July 17, 2013 at 10:03 am -

Surprised that Sally’s return hasn’t brought viewers to Home and Away. Huge name, mega publicity yet no impact. Hopefully it will improve as I’d hate for it to move to 7Two as rumours indicate.

However not surprised to see Winners and Losers struggling. Have always wanted to like it but the quality is not there. Without XFactor as a lead in, the deficiencies show.

  9. michaelOz July 17, 2013 at 9:49 am -

7′s attempt at an ABBA cash-in failed miserably this time around….
