It's time once again to send a message on Programming, Networks and Issues in Free to Air and Pay TV.

70aiThis year’s annual Audience Inventory is now open  -your chance to have your say on Programming, Networks and Issues in Free to Air and Pay TV.

This is the 5th year of the survey which looks at the way we watch television.

This is an extensive survey of some 30 questions across such topics as:

  • Most reliable network
  • Multichannels
  • Second screens
  • Catch Up TV
  • TV Guides
  • Issues in Television
  • and more!

It takes around 10 mins to complete. Make sure you won’t be distracted!

These results are often reported by wider media so here is your chance to send your message to the networks….

Survey closes Friday August 23rd.

  1. Thanks for the reminder David. Done. Was a bit confused by the question about catch up TV. Did you mean watching on line, or taping on a recorder and watching back later?

  2. David the survey worked well for me. Often pop up surveys by various sites, fail on tablets for some reason, so keep it just as it is now. 🙂
I dont know if it is possible to add an edit function to your blogs etc for us users but that would be nice if possible. Enjoy your website and blogs. 🙂 Wolf.

    1. It’s often reported in other media so that’s where it has impact. I’m not privy to exec conversations when they are reading the results. Last few surveys have tallied over 1000+ which is comparable to the surveys we read about from Fango, Jump-In and even ACMA.

  3. Nice work David, one tip though, re Q2 on page 1. Pay TV isn’t available in Regional areas via Cable unless you class the Gold Coast as Regional 🙂

  4. No questions on ownership/purchase of DVD sets to by-pass delayed screening plus amount of legal/and illegal downloading so impossible to quantify the loss of audience.

No option to tell the networks that the audience is well and truly sick of scripted derivative reality format shows and lame panel shows.

  5. Sorry Anthony. I’ve taken your advice and deleted the pop-up survey to avoid anybody else losing everything. On the exterior site it’s safer and looking at completed surveys today, seems to be progressing well.

  6. A few bugs in the survey (IMHO):
Subscription TV channels – ESPN is missing
Q21 – None should be an option.
Q26 – I use 2 but can only select one.
