Make-Up artist not a SKY News employee

SKY News has issued a statement after a make-up artist criticised Kevin Rudd.

2013-08-22_1202SKY News has issued a statement following a social media post by a make-up artist working on the People’s Forum, who criticised Kevin Rudd.

Lily Fontana wrote on Facebook:

“One of them was absolutely lovely, engaged in genuine conversation with me, acknowledge that I had a job to do and was very appreciative. The other did the exact opposite! Oh boy, I have ever had anyone treat me so badly.”

SKY News been made aware of comments posted on social media by a freelance make-up artist used at the Broncos Leagues Club last night.

The individual is not a SKY News staff member.

The comments posted were extremely unprofessional and we do not agree with them.

We understand the post has now been removed and she has expressed her regret over the matter.

Fontana has since posted: “Didn’t think my personal page/opinion of my day would get so much attention. What a lesson to learn. I’ve removed the post and regret making the comments I did.”

  1. How extremely unprofessional of Fontana to make any public comments. “Never been treated so badly”. Really? Should get around more. Should have asked Abbott about taking her School Kids Bonus to pay $75K to his party faithful to have a baby. (Well, not “pay” as there’s a shortfall of a few $B there, according to Saul Estlake today.)
@jezza the first original one – “….the man who toppled the first female PM”. Is this the female PM who came to power by stabbing an elected PM in the back, then failed to win a lower house majority in an election, then effectively resigned and called for a “spill” to elect a Labor Party leader? And lost?

  2. Don’t you just love this? All Labor voters getting their knickers in a twist when someone gives a poor opinion of their Illustrious Messiah. The guy’s deserves everything he’s about to get – which will ultimately wipe the supercillious smirk off his mug.

  3. Abbott ‘lovely’ she has got to be kidding. Don’t think people will be clamouring to employ her after showing such unprofessionalism by bagging out a client on Facebook.

  4. @jezza if you look at what she wrote after posting it, no wonder people are “attacking” her. It just seems so made up (no pun intended) and it comes in a week when the Liberals lost their candidate in Charlton.
