If Ten stick with The Project and I think they will, then it has to gain audience in a steady slow climb because the youngest demographic today is the middle demographic for tomorrow, age wise.

We have to record Peppa Pig as well as let our grandson watch the shows off air just after 5pm and at 5:40pm – LOL. It will be popular when they do a tour but will the primitive cartoon format translate into people playing the part, that is the question. I love the modern almost 3D looking cartoons but simple ones like Peppa Pig and Little Princess still have a lot of appeal, even in our time now. It is the stories that drag the little ones in :-)

  2. glennc August 20, 2013 at 12:53 pm -

@WolfieBoy Peppa Pig is doing a National Tour. I’d love to see Neighbours do that!!!!!

  3. ohdenny August 20, 2013 at 11:50 am -

Very good Melbourne numbers for The Project. Only 8,000 difference between that and Today Tonight.

  4. catherine August 20, 2013 at 11:11 am -

CAn someone tell me what happened to Jon Bon Jovi last night? Sunday night he was with Red Foo then Red Foo bought in Will I Am as a mentor last night

  5. WolfieBoy August 20, 2013 at 11:10 am -

Neighbours is increasing audience, albeit slowly. Peppa pig is the flavour of the month, they even have rides in shopping centres now with Peppa Pig now.
I don’t think XFactor has to worry about AGT. That show is for people that want to see everything else bar talent actually performing.
Watchtching M/C live until the final, then XFactor will take over for us to watch it live and record something else but not AGT.
Will have a look at Wonderland tomorrow night – wonder if it is the new no 96? Time will tell. :-)

  6. David Knox August 20, 2013 at 10:34 am -

DanR: Yes I’m limited in what I can publish. A number of people have mentioned this in the Audience Inventory, but it’s an OzTAM rule sorry.

  7. DanR August 20, 2013 at 10:24 am -

I wish David was allowed/could publish the multi-channels’ results for prime-time only … Or that we could see separate ratings for daytime and primetime

  8. bleachy_dude August 20, 2013 at 9:57 am -

Is Channel 7′s decision to schedule XF on Sunday night a classic example of cutting off the nose to spite the face?

XF performs strongest on Mon and Tues and provides a great lead-in for Winners and Losers.

They might be trying to kill AGT, but they may end up dampening XF and W&L.

Crowing about axing AGT was a bit premature, the latest episode of AGT was genuinely warm and funny and I think it might build, whilst XF has been a bit tired and drawn out (although home visits are never the most exciting aspect for me).

    Time will tell!

  9. adelaide_john August 20, 2013 at 9:48 am -

so what gave GO! the ratings given it didnt make the top 20 for the day for digital channels

  10. David Knox August 20, 2013 at 9:42 am -

    Beware the rabbit.

  11. smiley_mick August 20, 2013 at 9:38 am -

Neighbours is going well without that sheep.
