Now for Seven and Castle. Thank you. I should be annoyed at the start time. But because the Debate messed up the ABC, yesterday, was my exempt day. Where start times could be flexible. So I’m sure there were viewers annoyed at you over it starting around 10.15pm. I wasn’t one of them.

I really loved watching Castle. I will confess I missed a bit. But what I saw was wonderful. It was like watching Star Trek on Eleven except for a couple of weeks. Just a brilliant experience.

Lastly I also loved seeing the new (for me) S.H.E.I.L.D. ad. Plus the older “Sneak Peak” of The Blacklist. Again thank you.

  2. A. August 13, 2013 at 2:30 am -

Interesting that ABC News 24 was listed in the Top 20 of the multi-channels. Thank you to the ABC for the News with Scott Bevan plus the Debate. Thank you to GEM for The Ashes. SBS for Catastrophe.

I will admit to being a coward and not watching Ripper Street. After last week I was too afraid that I’d end up quitting something else again. I do plan on watching it on One and Ten next weekend if it is possible. Because I do want to watch it on Ten. I hope I won’t regret it.

  3. WolfieBoy August 12, 2013 at 8:30 pm -

AGT is total rubbish on Nine. All emotional crap and little singing or performing. Hopeless judges apart from Gerrie.
Ripper Street had me glued to the tv the whole episode.
XFactor was taped and watched and enjoyed later.
Nine know how to make any show the steal boring, that is why we hardly watch that patronising channel.

  4. ryan August 12, 2013 at 6:36 pm -

Ripper needs to be bumped to 9.30 and find something else for the 8.30 slot.

  5. Secret Squirrel August 12, 2013 at 12:04 pm -

@maxxdude – Nine Entertainment Co. says thanks for all your hard work. The cheque is in the mail.

  6. Damien August 12, 2013 at 11:35 am -

Tried watching Bridesmaids on 7Mate last night. Could not believe how many commercial breaks there were. Gave up watching.

  7. poida August 12, 2013 at 10:49 am -

AGT was better last night than it was on 7. But beaten in demos by the news? I might catch up with X Factor after they cull more contestants

  8. The Moops August 12, 2013 at 10:37 am -

A cracker of an episode of Sunday Night last night, all the stories were great. Special honourable mention for the The Fleetwood Mac story and interview with Stevie Nicks. It was absolutely fantastic, well done Rahni Sadler. I thoroughly enjoyed it. She is a very good celebrity interviewer.

  9. bettestreep2008 August 12, 2013 at 10:29 am -

Who would have thought there was room for two talent shows on the same night?

Thankfully I avoided them both and watched a fascinating Masterchef in Dubai.

Great way to see other countries without getting on a plane. Gorgeous stuff.

  10. David Knox August 12, 2013 at 9:59 am -

Uncle Jed (aside from their name) were fab.

  11. ricoz August 12, 2013 at 9:55 am -

Nothing wrong with the show itself but AGT just doesn’t have the talent on stage to be a success in the ratings based on the first show. Even that 9yo kids they promoted was only good at best.

  12. Rutzie August 12, 2013 at 9:36 am -

I think those numbers for AGT justify Seven giving it the chop. Strange from Nine to pick a show up that never has been a strong demo performer. Well behind XF in all three demos last night.

  13. poss August 12, 2013 at 9:33 am -

Talking of overruns, why was it necessary to start Bones at 9.16, 7s boring Sunday show finished at 9.10 the other the other 6 mins was commercials a news update, and various promos for other shows?

  14. maxxdude August 12, 2013 at 9:30 am -

I can’t believe the figures for Australia’s Got Talent. It was so much better than I thought it would be. Even Kyle was decent.
Also there was no Host butting in & taking all the glory from the contestants. Julia Morris did a great job.
Got to say that Nine did a great job.

  15. David Knox August 12, 2013 at 9:09 am -

Does not include overruns. Much of Nine’s programming ran over by about 20 minutes.
