Ha ha – slide show. Surely that show has to sink fast. Seven was the clear leader but now 2 or 3 absolute rubbish shows are on air from 7. Very sad – what has happened with their programming department. Just as well they have some major sports to stop them from sinking too low. They have also partly spoiled 7TWO for us. :-(

  2. maxxdude August 22, 2013 at 7:04 pm -

Slideshow is sliding out the door (I hope).

  3. catherine August 22, 2013 at 3:52 pm -

Another good episode of the mole but no elimination. This show will just go on and on.

  4. Cam Reed August 22, 2013 at 2:39 pm -

@tigertv Pretty sure Wonderland will survive with those figures and even with a bit of a drop-off, Under The Dome pulls in around 840,000 and is considered a success by TEN, even New NCIS was only pulling in around 876,000 and was considered a main stay for TEN. Also apart from the 2 final episodes of Offspring, the ratings were around the 730,000 – 850,000 mark, so Wonderland could drop to that and still keep TEN happy.

  5. WolfieBoy August 22, 2013 at 1:37 pm -

@tigertv – no worries. Ten hangs onto shows longer than 7 & 9 would be4 they dump them. This one ( Wonderland ) looks like a winner.
Just look how long they have given The project and now rewards are coming in as viewers, especially younger ones have taken to that show instead of the over the top dramatized current affair shows on 7 & 9. Not much to laugh at with those shows & we don’t watch them ever. :-)

  6. tigertv August 22, 2013 at 12:56 pm -

Wolfieboy. Was not knocking the show. If you care to read I stated that I thought it was a good show and I was just posing a question given that most say show don’t survive unless they can pull 1m plus viewers consistently. I hope it does!!

  7. ohdenny August 22, 2013 at 12:01 pm -

Is the TT figures for Melbourne worrying? It’s the only sub 200k in the top 17.

  8. WolfieBoy August 22, 2013 at 11:38 am -

Ten will be over the Moon with such a good start for Wonderland. Timing was perfect due to the black hole we currently have with Rafters gone and some of those actors are now working for Wonderland production. We watched it and our interest was maintained :-)

For the knocker ( first posting ) a figure close to 1 million these days is great for any Network. That’s the reality of so many channels and the Cricket on GEM as well. That’s why Neighbours was a little bit under 300K.

  9. jonno August 22, 2013 at 10:56 am -

Once again The Project beat Today Tonight in Melbourne. TT went under200k in Melbourne and had more viewers in Perth. Big Brothers ratings were very soft.

  10. Pertinax August 22, 2013 at 10:24 am -

Poor figures for the cricket. With the series over and other stuff to watch I guess it just didn’t appeal.

Viewers missed a great innings from Watson though.

  11. nik c August 22, 2013 at 10:18 am -

@ tiger tv, I think it was a good launch ratings wise. House rules pulled less than 900,000 and climbed during its season. I am not saying that Wonderland will do the same, but you can not right it off after one week.

  12. nik c August 22, 2013 at 10:10 am -

Wow, just noticed that Wonderland topped all the demo’s. 10 have got to be happy with that!

  13. nik c August 22, 2013 at 10:10 am -

Congratulations to the ABC and Channel 10 last night for great results in the 8:30 timeslot.
Wish these two channels got more rating wins based on delivering something different and taking a punt. Well Done!

  14. neat121 August 22, 2013 at 10:07 am -

Those are wonderful numbers for Wonderland! It rated well regionally too!

Awesome numbers for Gruen too – it was a great episode last night!

  15. tigertv August 22, 2013 at 10:07 am -

Wonderland less than a million viewers – what a shame good show. Will it survive??
