2013-08-31_1833US drama The Glades, starring Aussie Matt Passmore, has been axed after four seasons.

A&E has cancelled the series despite it hitting a season high in its most recent finale.

That means fans won’t learn the outcome of a finale cliffhanger involving Passmore’s character.

The Glades averaged 3.4 million total viewers for its finale but year on year, it was down in key demos while recently-renewed Longmire had improved.

The Glades, which airs in Australia on SoHo was the first scripted series for A&E.

  1. I hope the show runner comes out and tells us what his plans would have been, or they can do a movie or something to finish the story.

I hate when they do this, it’s no so bad for a new show in its first season but after 3 seasons you would think they deserve a little more respect.

  2. no it was the Marshall Tony he was one of the few that knew that Jim was at the new house and I believe he is the real reason for Rays disappearance. I can’t believe we don’t get to find out it only needs 2 eps one to wrap up ad one for the happy Jim/Callie ending 🙁 #nothappyjan!

  3. I think it more likely that Ray shot Jim, and the ATM transactions in Washington State are a fake alibi done by someone else.

But it could have been any one of dozens of people Jim pissed off.
