Home and Away to film in London

Seven soap to film in the UK for the first time in 12 years.

2013-09-05_0024Next month Home and Away will be filming in London.

The show previously filmed in the UK in 2001 and 1998.

Series Producer Lucy Addario said: “We are thrilled that Home and Away will be returning to London to shoot this exciting storyline. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to bring the heart and soul of Summer Bay to the home of our loyal UK audience.”

The Seven serial airs on Channel 5 in the UK.

The storyline follows a number of central characters faced with a challenge and asks the question ‘do they let go of what is most important in their lives or do they put up a desperate fight to hold onto people they love?’

The UK episodes will go to air next year.

  2. I’m happy that they are going back to London but not happy that it will involve the Braxtons… they have had many location shoots already…. plus it isn’t The Braxton show like Lucy & Louise seem to think it is.

  4. Maybe it has something to do with Marilyn. Her character returned to summer bay from London.

    I still watch home and away but they only time I enjoy it these days is when its not centred around the braxtons. Hopefully with some new characters over the next few weeks there will be less Braxton.

  6. so wait, except for uni, they never even travel outside summer bay, but suddenly feel compelled to go to england… not buying it!

    and for the love of good telly, please H&A writers, try to write good stories for other characters, its not all about the braxtons!!
