Australian actor John Noble is joining Sleepy Hollow for a major recurring role.

Noble, who starred as Walter Bishop for five seasons on Fringe, will join later in the season as Henry Parrish, a reclusive man who possesses supernatural powers that have the potential to help Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison).

The series also sees former Fringe producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci as co-creators, alongside Len Wiseman and Phillip Iscove.

Sleepy Hollow was fast-tracked on TEN last week, winning its timeslot and now screens at 8:30pm Tuesdays.

  1. yes A. and Josh777 lets get that last season of fringe airing in australia or if u won’t do it on GO then let foxtel have the rights to screen it on 111 HITS or sy fy b4 they shut down

  2. One of the best actors on TV but never got recognized because Fringe was too genre.

    What he did on that show was stunning work. The different characters, versions of themselves and at different ages was brilliantly done.

  3. Thank you so much for this information David. This has made me more interested in the show. So much so if watching it on Ten doesn’t work out. I’d accept that possibility. Then the DVDs it is. Maybe first to legally borrow then to buy.

    I don’t suppose Nine would consider using this as an excuse to launch the last season of Fringe. Although as mentioned I personally prefer Wednesday. Not to mention I have certain fixed habits on Tuesday. I am unwilling to change.

  4. I absolutely love John in Fringe, and his guest appearance on The Good Wife was absolutely brilliant, so I’ll be interested to see his character in Sleepy Hollow.
