Tonight on Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery, roof-tiler turned comic, Carl Barron, walks Julia through his old stomping ground on the Gold Coast.

In his first extended profile interview, he takes Julia back to his Burleigh Heads roots. They visit his childhood home house, walk his paper run, pause at the site his first kiss, and take a moment at the coastal park where he decided he’d rather be a punk than a waxhead. He has headlined at every major comedy venue and festival worldwide, but what many don’t know is that he once considered becoming a monk and narrowly avoided joining the army.
