Returning: Glee. Bumped: So You Think You Can Dance

Good to hear that Glee will be fast-tracked by ELEVEN later this month.

2013-09-15_0154Good to hear that Glee will be fast-tracked by ELEVEN later this month.

It returns 7:30pm Friday September 27th, meaning that viewers will be able to see episodes that react to the death of Finn (Cory Monteith) just as US viewers do. There would be no point sitting on these episodes.

In this season premiere the members of New Directions are back in action and take on their biggest assignment yet: the Beatles! Will enlists the kids to pay homage to the Fab Four while Rachel’s New York ambitions take an unexpected turn.

There will be 3 eps in the US before a short break.

As a result of this move, So You Think You Can Dance will shift to 8:30pm but Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model will be out.

  1. They had no option but to fast-track the new season. If they didn’t then they would get hardly any viewers at all. Fans of the show will not wait to see what happens to the Finn storyline.

It will be interesting to see how the ratings are after the storyline.

Maybe it’s time to start with a completely new cast, maybe a different school.

  2. So would you prefer TEN to screen it day and date with the US as they are doing or sit on it until Tuesdays to resume the same slot and get told off because people are refusing to wait? Networks are often damned if you do / don’t.

  3. Thanks David. It will be the finale episode for SYTYCD. They still muck this show about! I still recall the other year when they showed two in one week before Xmas and I missed it!
If it wasn’t for you I’d have missed the end of this one too!

  4. Good idea, but people will only know about this if they watch Eleven. TEN never advertise what is on their multichannels on the primary channel. They really need to do this to increase the awareness of what is accross their channels.
