She was banned for working for Nine for a year, but Mel B. will co-host The Project Friday night on TEN.
Brown, lost her court in which Seven objected to her joining Australia’s Got Talent on Nine. But the court ruling related to her being employed by another network. On TEN she will be promoting her new single, For Once In My Life and an upcoming tour, as co-host.
“I am very excited to be co-hosting The Project on Friday night. I really love Australia and I’m thrilled to be back here, especially on television,” she said (get that?).
Friday’s show will also include male model Tyson Beckford, who is in Australia for the Melbourne Cup Carnival.
Friday at 6.30pm on TEN.

I didn’t see it at that time
Ok.
According to Media Spy 7 has banned Mel B from being on The Project tonight
Just published it a few mins ago.
Anyone else thinking that maybe this is Mel B coming on board with Ten in some way? Perhaps lining up some SYTYCD Aus work?… Or is that just wishful thinking of me? haha!
Should be interesting but of all days why did they choose Friday for her appearance. Monday/Tuesday would have been a better idea TEN. You know whats weird about this though. I thought i’d miss Mel from The X Factor this year but Seven did a great job in casting Foo and Dannii that i was saying Mel who by the end of the first week.
Answered below.
Another woeful decision by the morons at TEN.
Will it never end?
Harsh. It’s just one night?
I enjoy watching her…delightful young woman…and I watch The Project
I have a great idea why don’t ch 9 get rid of Delta on the voice and replace her with Mel B, I miss Mel B on tv.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !
Go away – we have enough of our talent here.
Friday night is a graveyard from The project…. it would more ideal to have her on a Monday night …. Friday night would just be a waste of time ……
Shows have to work around talent availability. Better to have her Live than pre-recorded.
Can’t imagine she would have anything to contribute there.
