2013-10-12_0207The CW has ordered three additional scripts each for The Vampire Diaries spinoff The Originals, The Tomorrow People, and Reign.

While it isn’t a back-order of 9 episodes, it’s still a vote of confidence in the new shows.

All three include Aussie actors.

Reign features Adelaide Kane and Caitlin Stasey, The Tomorrow People includes Luke Mitchell and The Originals has Phoebe Tonkin and Claire Holt.

Both The Originals and The Tomorrow People will air in Australia on GO!

  1. Considering Reign hasn’t premiered yet, script orders are typically related to seeing the direction of a show before deciding on a full season. Not necessarily ratings performance.

  3. Every time I see a pic of Adelaide Kane, I’m astounded by her beauty. I was wondering who was going to air The Tomoorow people. As for The Originals, if I don’t watch the Vampyre Diaries is there any point in watching its spin off?
