2013-09-30_1846Season 3 of Once Upon a Time began in the US yesterday and returns to 7TWO on Friday.

This season will be split into two parts, across 2013 / 14.

Emma Swan, Snow White, Prince Charming, Rumplestiltskin, Hook and the Evil Queen Regina travel through a portal on the Jolly Roger in an effort to reach Neverland and save Henry. But Neverland is a much darker place than you remember, and in order for our heroes to accomplish their mission, they’ll have to face a foe more powerful than the Dark One himself. New fairytale characters will be revealed and old acquaintances will be revisited.

7:30pm Friday on 7TWO.

Yes 72 started out showing UK and lifestyle shows that Seven had rights to, targeting women very successfully. It was the top rating secondary channel and wasn’t taking viewers away from 71 or 73.

But they have broadened its target, putting shows about ships and planes crashes on against The X Factor and Dancing With The Stars and now appear to be trying to reduce Nine’s lead in the younger demographics on Fridays.

  2. Two points on this one. 1 great scheduling decision for Friday Nights, Better Homes will finish its season soon and that will leave room for this. 2 why on 7Two does not make much sense. I thought that 7two was supposed to be similar to BBC or UK Tv interms of British shows. So i guess i am critising the inconsistancy.

  3. Isn’t the season usually split in the US, for network shows? With a break over Christmas of several weeks or longer depending on the series.

Good to see Seven bringing it back, even if it’s on 7TWO.
