Congratulations to Nine for the Rugby League result. Since I didn’t get to watch the TV until later than usual I wish to thank ABC News 24 for the 9pm News.

I also wish to thank Seven belatedly for The Blacklist repeat. I enjoyed it very much. James Spader definitely seemed to have fun with his role. Plus I’m very happy about being able to watch Castle and the repeat of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Again loved it. I found the last line in the latter show funny. Thank you.

Also due to tiredness I belatedly wish to thank SBS for Who Do You Think You Are? The episode with Patrick Stewart was wonderful.

  2. WolfieBoy October 7, 2013 at 7:47 pm -

Enjoyed F1 racing from Korea in the late afternoon after Rugby.

Elementary is still a top show and we watched it live after XFactor which was also excellent.

SMH had an article on Recipe` to Riches success for them: smh.com.au/business/tv-show-recipe-for-success-woolies-20131006-2v29n.html

Coles had similar success with Masterchef – makes you wonder why that is not showing up in ratings figures?

  3. David Knox October 7, 2013 at 3:55 pm -

    Not sure.

  4. SAgr8 October 7, 2013 at 3:42 pm -

7news Perth got more viewers than 7news Sydney. David, do you know if the 7 news Sydney set is currently being renovated? There doesn’t seem to be any set, just a backdrop screen

  5. David Knox October 7, 2013 at 11:37 am -

    130,000.

  6. JJ99 October 7, 2013 at 11:33 am -

David – what did “You’ve Got Mail” rate on Gem? Channel nine used the excuse that 250,000 would watch it – that’s why the game wasn’t in HD.

  7. maxxdude October 7, 2013 at 11:23 am -

I am surprised at the figures for Serangoon Road are not better. This is a really good show & I am enjoying the attention to detail. Don Hany really is a great leading man & Joan Chen is ageless.

  8. jimbo k October 7, 2013 at 10:25 am -

Great numbers for the NRL Grand Final. It was a big win to Nine.

The X Factor did well against it. I expected lower numbers for it. So it held off well.

Just a side note – I noticed that Oztam are still calling the ”First Division match” (17th in the ratings) incorrectly. It’s actually the ”under 20s match”. They’ve done this for a few years now. I’m just being picky here! lol
