The Face Australia announces host and Aussie coaches

Cheyenne Tozzi, Nicole Trunfio and fashion photographer Georges Antoni will join Naomi Campbell on FOX8's new Reality series.

2013-10-31_1542Australian models Cheyenne Tozzi and Nicole Trunfio (pictured) will join Naomi Campbell on Foxtel’s new modelling series The Face Australia.

Hosting the show is fashion photographer Georges Antoni.

Filming on the Reality series, which includes three teams of aspiring models, begins in Sydney next week and airs next year on FOX8.

Cheyenne Tozzi was just 13 years old when she became one of the youngest models ever to grace the cover of prestigious Harper’s Bazaar. Since then, Cheyenne has become an international modelling sensation, gracing the covers of Mexican Vogue, German Cosmo and French Madam Figaro Magazine to name a few. She has shot campaigns for Marks and Spencer, Mambo Goddess Australia and Just Jeans, and has appeared on Australia’s Next Top Model, as well as a various daytime TV appearances.

Born in Perth, Nicole Trunfio’s modelling career was launched when she won the Australian television series Search for a Supermodel. She now lives in New York and has worked with some of the industry’s leading photographers. Nicole has appeared on the covers of Australian Vogue and Elle, and shot campaigns for Isola by Megan Gale and Pleasure State. She has also walked the international runways for designers including Versace, Chanel, Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci and Christian Dior. Nicole was a mentor on the second season of the US series Make Me a Supermodel.

These three supermodel coaches will compete against one another to find The Face of Fresh Effects by Olay – a new, younger brand by the world’s number one skincare brand Olay. Earning a real contract as the brand ambassador, the winner will launch the brand to the Australian market and front a national advertising campaign.

The host of The Face Australia will be acclaimed fashion photographer Georges Antoni. Georges is one of the world’s most in demand photographers, and has shot for every major fashion magazine in Australia. His natural talent and easygoing nature has won him numerous high-end clients including Virgin Airlines, Oroton, Westfield, Goldwell, Berlei and Sportsgirl.

Based on the successful global format, The Face Australia will give viewers unprecedented access inside the world of the fashion industry as three teams of aspiring models, each led by a supermodel coach, are guided through real life assignments including photo shoots and commercials.

Throughout the series, the supermodel coaches mentor these young hopefuls using the lessons and skills they have learned to guide their teams through challenges that accurately depict what it takes to have a career as a model and be the face of a brand.
