These cute cubs are part of a new nature documentary Nordic Wild coming to SBS ONE next week.

At the northernmost reaches of the world, a vast and ancient wilderness plays host to nature’s most spectacular wildlife. For the first time, this series offers a comprehensive overview of the wild beauty of Scandinavia. Winter has held Scandinavia prisoner for many months, locked in ice and silenced by bitter arctic winds. As the cold season comes to an end, longer days and warmer weather transform the land, uncovering a whole new world. But for countless new arrivals, the race for life is just beginning.

Episode One – Reborn In this premiere episode, as the bitter Arctic winter loosens its grip, Scandinavia’s young animals explore their home. But the gentler seasons won’t last long; these bear and fox cubs, barnacle goose chicks and young owls are going to have to grow up fast.
